Police Stumped By Hideous Child Pornography Case, Nanny's Tattoo A Dead Giveaway

UK resident Lucy Wolfe was once the focus of a newspaper article that discussed her extreme weight loss. It seems that Wolfe had gastric lap band surgery and lost half of her weight.
She described her situation:

“When I was 22 I was working as a nanny. Working with children all day was heartbreaking. My weight meant that I'd never had a period and I was worried I wouldn't be able to conceive.”

Wolfe now has more serious problems as she has just received a 10-year sentence for child sex abuse.

When UK police heard about pornographic images of a child online, they brought in a specialist to help identify who posted the photos. The team used biometric analysis of the adult hands that showed up in the photos to ID the perps.

Nanny Lucy Wolfe and her boyfriend, Damion Gaul, initially denied any involvement, but a tattoo on her hand eventually led her to decide to plead guilty.

At the end, Wolfe finally pled guilty to taking indecent images of a child, engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child and sexual assault by penetration of a child.

The boyfriend Damion Gaul pled guilty to the same three charges and also failing to comply with the requirements of a Registered Sexual Offender order.

In the sentencing phased of the trial, Judge Christopher Parker sentenced Wolfe to 10 years in prison and gave Gaul a life sentence.

Wolfe will also be subject to Sexual Harm Prevention Order which notably restricts her access to both children and computers.

In his verdict, Parker remarked they were both “dangerous offenders,” and said they were clearly threats to children.

A statement by Sussex Police noted:

"These offenders have shown little remorse for their offending and pose a significant threat to children. The sentence handed down to them clearly shows the seriousness of the offence and the danger they pose to the public.”
