Police Reveal Truth About Mother Who Killed Daughter's In Cold Blood Before Being Shot By Cops

A Texas woman gunned down her two adult daughters in late June of this year, and was then shot and killed by a responding police officer.

The local sheriff's office identified the mother as Christy Sheats, 42, and her two daughters as Taylor Sheats, 22, and Madison Sheats, 17.

One daughter died at the scene, and the Fulshear police Facebook page noted the other daughter was medivaced to the Texas Medical Center where she also died.

According to the police report, the shooting occurred around 5 p.m. in a home near Fulshear, Texas.

Officers came to the scene to investigate a 911 call saying "shots fired," and found two women lying on the street in front of a home in the middle class subdivision.

A few seconds later, a police officer shot and killed a third woman who was holding a pistol and would not drop it. The woman with the gun was eventually identified as the mother of the two women on the ground.

According to local law enforcement, the exact motive for the shooting remains under investigation.

A local police spokesperson noted: "It was a family argument that turned into a shooting. But we're still trying to put the pieces together."
