Police Get The Last Laugh, Put This On The Back Of A Drug Dealers Truck (Photos)

There is an old saying: if you don't laugh, you'll cry. Police officers must feel like that a lot. One police force decided to take a very serious issue and approach it with a bit of tongue-in-cheek humor. They hope to remind people that crime doesn't pay.

A drug dealer in an unidentified town had been selling drugs out of his expensive truck. Police finally caught up with him and put him behind bars.

According to the law in many states, police departments are allowed to take possession of vehicles when crimes are committed in them. Often they sell the vehicles to help cover legal expenses, but the department can also choose to keep them and put them to use.

The police department in this town decided to put the truck to police use, in more ways than one. Not only did it serve as a suitable vehicle, but also as a rolling reminder to would-be law breakers.

“This vehicle belonged to a drug dealer: He went to jail and we are driving his car,” said big, black letters on the back of the white truck.

A Twitter user snapped a photo of the truck and posted it online. The amusing display has now gone viral and the truck is serving as a warning to people online everywhere.
