Police Disgusted When They Realize Disturbing Reason Father Killed His Son

A murder case cast a dark shadow over a community for years, sparked by the disappearance of a boy. Now, new information makes the culprit quite clear. Mark Redwine has been arrested in Bellingham, Washington after an extensive five-year investigation. The man is accused of murdering and dismembering his own child in Colorado, but that’s not the only incredibly twisted part of this grisly tale. As Fox News shares, Redwine was allegedly driven into a fit of rage when his son uncovered some incredibly disturbing photos of his father engaged in a bizarre fetish.

Reports indicate that 13-year-old Dylan Redwine and his older brother Cory uncovered the revolting snaps back in 2012 and planned to confront their dad about them. They would never get the opportunity to do that.

“I have seen the photos. It shows him wearing women’s clothes and makeup and a diaper and then eating his feces from the diaper. It was disgusting,” Cory said. “We couldn’t believe it.”

Dylan would mysteriously disappear from his father’s home in Vallecito soon thereafter. Some of the boy’s remains were found near the home the following year, and the father was considered a person of interest. The father denied any involvement, and it sounds like he took off soon thereafter.

It appears as if authorities finally have enough to proceed with charges against him. Blood matching Dylan’s was found in the home, in the father’s truck and on the father’s clothing. A hiker found the boy’s skull about a mile and a half away from the rest of the remains about two years later. No word on exactly what took the area authorities so long to put all of the pieces together.

“It’s exciting to know that justice is coming for my little brother. I’m obviously excited,” Cory said. “I believe they have the right man, but it’s still sad that we even have to go through this.”

Redwine is currently being held on $1 million bond. For Cory, this is a tiny bit of closure on what has been a long nightmare, but there’s still a long road ahead before this unfathomable case comes to a close.

“I think Dylan had a lot more than just pictures that he wanted to get across to Mark. He’s just a sick person, but he’s fully aware of his actions, and he’s fine with being that person,” Cory added. “If that’s how he wants to live his life, then well, we can see where that gets you. He’s where he belongs.”

It’s impossible to imagine the horror that Cory has had to live with through the years. Finding graphic pictures of your parent engaged in repulsive activities is more than enough for one person to have to deal with. To have those twisted findings lead to the death of a sibling is practically incomprehensible.

We wish Cory well, and hope that justice is served in this case. After a five-year investigation, we would hope that the authorities have all of their ducks in a row to finally bring some closure to this chapter in the young man’s life.
