Man Goes To Doctor Complaining Of Giant Lump- What She Pulls Out Is The Stuff Of Nightmares

If you’ve heard of Dr. Sandra Lee, better known as Dr. Pimple Popper, you might have seen her latest stomach-churning video. This particular video shows the famous dermatologist extracting a particularly large epidermoid cyst.

As she removes the membranous sac, Dr. Lee cheerfully remarked that it looks like a baby’s face. However, there was nothing cute about this extraction and hundreds of viewers have expressed their horror at the color and consistency of the pus-filled cyst.

At the start of the video, Dr. Pimple Popper carefully slices into the skin above the cyst. However, before she even starts squeezing the protrusion, grey-brown pus begins seeping out of the incision.

After years of buildup, an enormous amount of the thick ‘cheesy’ fluid was finally being squeezed out of the patient’s cyst. As the video continues, Dr. Lee finds out that her patient, an unnamed middle-aged man, first noticed the cyst about 50 years ago.

While she wipes away the seemingly endless spurts of grey gunk, Dr. Pimple Popper continues to happily talk with the patient, quipping: “This is some old skin under here then. It's just been slowly growing with you…It's a 50-year-old cyst!”

Dr. Lee later uploaded the video to her popular YouTube channel, Dr. Pimple Popper, and it quickly went viral. In the caption of her video, Dr. Lee expands on the nauseating procedure and explains the color of the revolting slime, writing: “Epidermoid cysts result from the reproduction of epidermal cells within a confined space of the dermis.

The pasty contents are mostly composed of macerated keratin (wet skin cells), which creates this 'cheesy' consistency, and there can be a pungent odor.”

The actual removal of the epidermoid cyst took longer than usual, with Dr. Lee spending nearly 35 minutes digging out the cysts and squeezing the last globules of pus out. After extracting the causes of the inflammation, Dr. Lee demonstrated her medical skills, neatly cleaning the wound and stitching up the incision.

Epidermoid cysts rarely cause any pain and are classified as benign lumps. They are usually caused by skin trauma (such as excessive sunburn or skin infections), which can lead to a buildup of a protein called keratin. Dr. Lee’s patient has revealed that his cyst began to form after he was injured by his uncle’s bull.

In the caption to her video, Dr. Lee revealed why so many people contact her about their harmless cysts, writing: “Usually people seek removal because they don’t like the appearance of these bumps, or the cyst has ruptured or been inflamed or 'infected' in the past. Rupture is associated with sudden redness, pain, swelling, and local heat, and can lead to abscess formation.”

After being uploaded, Dr. Lee’s 37-minute long video has already amassed over 3.8 million views on YouTube. The video has also received over 3000 comments, with many people expressing their disgusted fascination with the extraction process.

One YouTube user, Karen Kempin, wrote about her own experience with epidermoid cysts, commenting: “Hey this is interesting. I am a scrub nurse and we had a patient with a similar lump on the outer thigh about 12 years ago. Grey stuff like this came out with a hard lump in the middle…Turns out patient was in Korean War and was hit by shrapnel but thought they can cleaned it all out.”
