Photos Circulating Show This Miracle Baby Wasn't Letting Anything Stop Him (Photo)

They say that some things are just meant to be. We’ll consider the birth of a beautiful baby boy named Dexter Tyler to be one of them. As the Daily Mail shares, some amazing photos have been making the rounds that show just how much this little guy wanted to get out into the world.

Lucy Hellein already had two children, and she had decided that two was enough. That prompted her to go on the market for contraceptive devices, and she settled for one that she thought was essentially foolproof. She settled on a hormonal coil, which is cited as being 99 percent effective. Hellein was fitted for the device, had it inserted, but it turned out to not be so foolproof.

She was fitted with the device in August, but she would find out she was pregnant by Christmas.

“Dexter was definitely meant to be. His original due date was May 4th and even the doctor said ‘the force was strong with this one.’ Although he wasn't planned, my family and I feel incredibly blessed,” she explains.

Hellein isn’t kidding. Dexter entered the world with a big old handful of his mother’s contraceptive device. The amazing baby was clutching the coil as his first pics were taken.

“For those wondering, no I did not push him out, he was a scheduled c-section. My daughter was an emergency c-section, so I had this one scheduled primarily because I didn’t want to risk the possibility of going through another emergency c-section,” she continues.

It’s a good thing she cleared that up because based on the pics, it looked like Dexter pushed his way out all on his own. While the coil had obviously failed, there was a little mystery as to exactly what had happened to it. The coil wasn’t showing up on any ultrasounds, and her obstetrician just assumed that it had fallen out. That turned out not to be the case, as Dexter simply removed the nuisance out of his way so he could see his mission through to completion.

Dexter was a big one, as he tipped the scales at 9lbs. 1oz. While Hellein wouldn’t trade him for anything, she has decided that the third time’s the charm. However, she’s not going the contraceptive route anymore. Hellein has had her fallopian tubes removed. No word on whether Dexter assisted in the surgery or not.
