People Notice Chelsea Clinton Forgot Something Important, People Are Furious (Photo)

Former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton turned people’s stomachs across the internet when she presented her family’s dinner on National Pancake Day. Clinton whipped up a batch of ‘spinach pancakes’ for daughter Charlotte. Though the 37-year-old mom’s cooking seems to leave much to be desired, her taste in clothes and accessories are enviable.

Not everyone likes eat their veggies, even if said veggies are slipped into little bits of sweet, cakey heaven. So it’s a given that spinach pancakes are going to get a thumb down from people who just don’t like choking down leafy greens. But even Popeye would think twice before sinking his teeth into Chelsea’s little green monstrosities.
It’s not the spinach, people complained, but the deformed-looking, unevenly cooked, limp, soggy flapjacks that make the recipe look unappetizing.

“Spinach pancakes for #NationalPancakeDay (we won't eat them all tonight although Charlotte would if we let her)!” she tweeted.
"Those spinach pancakes might be good but they should not look like they were cooked in a nuclear reactor," responded one person on Twitter.

"Why would you do this to a poor pancake on its big day?" another person demanded.

Chelsea’s day started out much better, though, as she headed off to bring Charlotte to nursery school. The two were spotted hailing a cab early that morning in New York City with Clinton donning an $1,800 Burberry trench and Isabel Marant boots. She accessorized with a $6,500 Cartier watch and a USNS Comfort hat. The USNS Comfort is a U.S. Navy ship that helped victims in Haiti.

Charlotte was looking spiffy, too, in her light blue polka dot dress and blue cardigan sweater.

One accessory Chelsea neglected to bring caught some slack: a car seat. Manhattan socialites rarely lug that kind of gear when they’re hailing taxis for a quick hop. But after a two-hour school day, mother picked up daughter and the two walked home to their $15 million apartment.

Carseat is nowhere to be seen.
