People Are Shocked By The Images This Woman Is Sharing - You Will Be Too

A young woman from Arizona who battled drug addiction shocked social media with two photos: before and after. After four years of sobriety, the photos are each worth a thousand words testifying to how her life has improved.

Dejah Hall, 26, posted on the Facebook page 'Sobriety Birthdays' to celebrate her fourth year of clean living. The most inspiring part of her story were the pictures she shared. “These pictures are humiliating and show the real effects of drugs, but that doesn't have to be your reality!”

One photo was of Hall in December of 2012 after she was arrested on an outstanding warrant. The IV drug user shows a hardened-looking woman with sad, dead eyes, greasy hair, splotchy skin and a frown that looked frozen in place.

"I was a monster," she said in a comment to ABC 15. "I was a monster in every sense of the word."

A current photo shows a bright-eyed beauty with glowing skin and a sincere smile. The difference is like night and day.

“I am completing my BA (Bachelor of Arts degree) and hope to one day be a prison minister. I have a beautiful 18-month-old and everyday I thank God that I am not where I once was! Sobriety is possible,” Hall explains, giving hope and inspiration to many struggling with the same journey.
