Passengers Refuse To Offer Mother And Child Their Seat, Bus Driver Gives Them A Piece Of His Mind

Sometimes going out of your way to do a good deed doesn’t take much effort at all. Sometimes all it requires of you is that you stand up. However, some still won’t even perform an act of kindness even when it’s that easy.

People on a crowded bus in Chile got a first rate lesson on kindness and decency from their bus driver. In Chile, public transit usually has specific seats that are reserved for elderly passengers, disabled passengers and pregnant women, according to Little Things.

The bus driver didn’t think that a mother holding her baby should be left out of this group. He was driving his bus when it became crowded. He noticed that his passengers were ignoring a woman who was struggling to hold her baby with one arm and holding onto a pole with her other arm without losing balance and dropping her baby. Then the bus driver stopped the bus and offered his seat to the woman to prove a point.

Security footage shows him scolding his passengers for their lack of concern. Eventually a woman (no surprise there!) gets up to offer her seat to the mother. This bus driver is definitely a hero.
