Parents Demand To See Security Tape After Baby Comes Home Covered In Bruises

It is especially hard being a two-parent, working household nowadays. No matter how much research you do, or how many great recommendations you get, you always worry if your little one is in safe hands when you drop him off at the sitter. One couple thought they'd made the right choice, but when they came to pick up their son, they were shocked by his condition.

Tracy Blinov from Missoula, Montana dropped her 7-month-old daughter off at the Busy Hands day care as usual and went on with her own work day. At the end of the day, she and her husband went to retrieve their infant when the daycare workers told them a toddler bit their child.

The parents were not prepared for what they found. Their baby had approximately 8 to 10 injuries on her face. When they demanded to see the security camera footage, they were shocked to see that their infant was left in the room alone with a 2-year-old.

The toddler bit their little girl repeatedly and no one came to the infant's aid. “I don’t get it. I never will. Who let’s this kind of thing happen? I Let Eliana go to Busy Hands, and in less than 2 hours both sides of her face have been severely bitten and scratched by another child,” Blinov vented in a Facebook post.

“I’m utterly perplexed. Not sure I can ever let her out of my sight again. Sweet baby sleep in my arms forever, I’m never letting you go. My initial reaction was very heartbroken, but I understand kids are sometimes kids,” Blinov said. “I had no idea the of the severity of it, initially. They made it sound like it was just one bite mark.”

The couple later learned that a staff member lied on an incident report, and the staff of the daycare even lied to police.

“The staff member belligerently lied in her incident report. Someone (unsure of who) took it so far as to lie to police about what happened by trying to claim we said/did things that absolutely 2000% never happened (like threaten violence, let’s be clear we DID NOT DO ANYTHING LIKE THAT)," wrote Blinov.

The owner of the daycare claims the toddler was a new client, and the day care staff had not been informed that the child was recently thrown out of another day care facility for biting.
