An Old Pill Bottle Can Be Turned Into A Survival Tool - Check This Out

A few items that could fit inside a pill bottle could be responsible for saving your life. Are you one of those people who are always prepared. You know who are you.

Those of you with toilet paper, an extra outfit, pair of shoes and fire extinguisher in the trunk of your car —this is for you. This survival-kit hack from Little Things won’t take up all that space in your trunk and could even fit in your pocket.

First grab a pill bottle and clean it out, making sure there is no pill residue left behind. Then you get to fill it. Here’s what you need for your mini survival-kit. A two-inch flashlight proves invaluable if the power goes out, and can fit right in your pill bottle.

Add a pack of matches and also glue a strike strip to the top of the pill bottle so you have a good dry place to strike your match. It never hurts to have a backup, so you can even include a mini lighter in your pill bottle. Another survival kit essential is the safety pin. Make sure you toss a few in there.

Tossing in a piece of candy can help if your blood sugar drops. You can pack in a one foot square of aluminum foil and use it for a variety of things, including to cook on. You can add some sanitizing wipes and make your own antibiotic ointment packs by burning one of a straw adding the ointment and sealing the other end. Last you’ll want to include a bandage.

Then you just fit everything in nice and snug and you have a portable survival kit.
