Officers Walk Into Home, Become Physically Ill When They See What Is Happening Inside (PHOTOS)

Concerned neighbors in Brisbane, Australia alerted police that they were concerned about the welfare of some young children in their neighborhood. According to Australian Broadcasting Corporation news, the children were found in some absolutely horrid condition.

Neighbors grew worried about the recurring scene of a naked toddler standing on a window sill and banging on the glass in a nearby home. Police would visit the home, and be greeted at the door by a four-year-old child that was wearing a soiled diaper and covered in feces. With the child unable to open the locked door, the officers would force their way in and find a disturbing scene.

The house was in utter disarray and absolutely filthy, including rotting garbage in the kitchen, and the children’s sleeping area soaked in urine. The mother was apparently asleep in the bedroom, and the then 20-year-old woman had also been seen by neighbors returning from a night out, dressed to the nines of course.

The unidentified 22-year-old woman would face charges and head to trial, which would reveal even more disturbing information about the children’s living conditions. Both children have had their development stunted, and have been suffering from chronic diarrhea. The woman was sentenced to 12 months behind bars for the neglect, and the children are now in the care of their grandmother.
