Officers Jump Into Action After Seeing Girl Mouth Something At Them From Man's Lap

The decision by two Walton County Sheriff’s Deputies to take one more lap around their patrol area saved a woman in Florida from sexual assault.

Deputy Ryan Hook and Sergeant Paula Pendleton spotted a man holding onto a woman while sitting on a bench in Seaside, FL. The deputies saw the victim mouth the words “Help me” and “Help me, he won’t let me go.”

The woman told the deputies that she had become separated from her friends and that Fidel Mandujano, Jr. grabbed her and tried to kiss her. He then pulled her onto a bench in his lap.

The woman said she tried to break free and run away, but he refused to let her go. He is also accused of touching the victim under her clothes and only stopped when the deputies arrived.

He was arrested, charged with false imprisonment and sexual battery and held in the Walton County Jail.
