Officer Stunned By The Note A Stranger Left On His Car

Some people understand the importance of honest, reliable law enforcement in maintaining civil society.

One recent example of this is a handwritten note police officers in Fort Worth, Texas found on their squad car. The touching note was from a young woman thanking the officers for their service to the community and praying for their safety.

An image of the note was posted on social media by the Fort Worth Police Association, who were hoping someone would come forth to ID the writer so they could thank them for their support:

To whoever drives this squad car,

Thank you. I am in awe that there are people like you who choose to get up and put on your uniform everyday. You are courageous, you are faithful, and I pray that my kids grow up to be like the kind of person it takes to be you just a few hours a day.

Whoever you are, I pray for you every day and for men and women just like you. I pray you and your family is protected, bust most of all that you are blessed for the work that you do.

There is a God who adores you. He died for you and HE is proud of you.

The sweet note was signed "Maddison W.", and the search is on for the author.
