Officer Hands Man Traffic Ticket, Man Immediately Notices Something Rolled Up Inside Of It (VIDEO)

While a few police officers may be on a power trip, many police officers are in the profession to help people, and some let their actions speak louder than their words. The actions of a caring cop in Plano, Texas exemplify the best of the law enforcement profession.

This kind officer slipped a $100 bill into the warning ticket envelope he gave to a man he had pulled over who was down on his luck.

The recipient of the gift, Hayden Carlo told TV station KTVT he was driving when an officer pulled him over for an expired registration.

Carlo has two young children, and told the officer he simply didn’t have the money to pay for his expired registration.

“You get paid, pay your bills, and there’s your money. It’s gone,” Carlo explained to the officer. “I said ‘there’s no explanation for why I haven’t done it, except I don’t have the money.’ I said ‘it was either feed my kids or get my registration done.”

A minute later, the officer (who asked to remain anonymous) handed Carlo a traffic ticket envelope with a warning ticket and a $100 bill.

Carlo said he was stunned by the officer’s generosity, and used the money to update his registration and is driving to work legally.

“He helped me out when I needed it and I appreciate that. I’ll never forget that man,” Carlo commented. “It definitely restored my faith in God.”
