Obama’s Spent This Much During Vacations Over The Last 8 Years

Many jobs offer paid vacations, and the President of the United States, with his important position, should be no exception. President Barack Obama, however, may have pushed the envelope.

According to 'Judicial Watch', a conservative watchdog group, the Obama family racked up more than $85 million in travel expenses for the eight years they were in the White House. The Obamas took eight Hawaiian family vacations, an annual family tradition.

Secret Service expenses for security, lodging, extra rooms, car rentals, air and rail expenses racked up into tens of millions of dollars, so that the Obama family could enjoy their multi-million-dollar luxury vacations.

Once out of the White House, the first family’s travel expenses to Hawaii will likely go down. Reports say the Obamas have purchased their own vacation home on the islands, which will be a considerable savings on their $50,000-per-week rental homes.
