This Is The Note A Marine's Father Found On His Car (PHOTOS)

Parents with children in the armed forces are typically pretty proud of their children’s accomplishments and are often not shy about displaying the pride they feel either. According to Fox 32 Chicago, this proud dad recently had a note left on his car from someone who didn’t share his enthusiasm.

Lewis Alexander of Deltona, FL has a son that is currently serving overseas in the Marines. He sports a bumper sticker on his and his wife’s cars that tout their son’s service to his country, including one that reads “Proud Parent Of A U.S. Marine.” Lewis was parked at a store one day, and came back to find a disturbing note on his parked car.

“I hope he dies,” the note read in part.
The note obviously took Lewis aback quite a bit.

“I got back in my car, and I was about to put it in reverse, and then I looked at the note again, and it really hit me that 'Wow, this person is evil!” Lewis said.

He contacted the authorities, but since no crime was actually committed, there wasn’t much they could do. The Volusia County Sherriff’s Office did take the time to post a note of support on Facebook to those that are serving our country, as well as their families, and also to condemn the actions of whoever left the note.
