New Disney Movie Controversy Causes Mother To Publicly Boycott Disney

New live-action 'Beauty and the Beast' director caused quite a stir when he said in an interview with 'Attitude' magazine that there would be a 'gay moment' in the film. The comment immediately sparked panic in parents across the nation who feel Disney is becoming too bold in pushing an LGBT agenda. One furious mommy blogger wrote a post explaining why she was canceling her family's vacation.

'The Modest Mom' Brooke Poston wrote on her blog that the 'gay moment' comment was the last straw for her. She's done with Disney.

"I'm not paying for simple entertainment that doesn't accurately align with my personal beliefs," the Christian mom wrote. "Disney isn’t just aiming their efforts towards parents of Disney-aged children anymore. They are pointing a desperate finger at the innocence of our youth. Disney is targeting our youth like they’re aiming at big game on a corporate hunting trip. They are banking on corrupting the purity of a child’s mind for the 1%. They are no longer making watching a choice, but by forcing it to become mainstream, Disney is telling the conservative family, the Christian public, that they’re views hold no worth. In jest, they’re subtly encouraging you to conform your ways. (Mark 13:22)"

Poston fears that it 'gay moments' in films today will soon carry over into parks, supporting the LGBT agenda. “Who’s to say that an adapted theater version of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ won’t be shown in Hollywood Studios this year? Mark my words, I won’t be ‘entertained’ by something that doesn’t align with my religious beliefs,” she wrote. “Which definitely means I won’t pay for it.”

The Huffington Post reached out the Poston, and the blogger sent them a lengthy response claiming that she has nothing against LGBT people. She just doesn't believe they should be portrayed in entertainment. She's been opposed to LTBT characters on shows like 'Grey's Anatomy' and 'How to get Away with Murder' as well. “I believe that all humans should be treated equally, and with respect. But I have a right to stay true to my religious beliefs as well.”

The comment turned out to be much ado about nothing. It's implied LaFou, minion of villain Gaston, is gay, and at the end he dances for a split second with a man.
