Neighbors Notice Mother Repeatedly Bringing Men Into Chicken Coop, Then Make Shocking Realization

The poverty rates of single mothers and their children are staggering in the U.S. leading some women to revert to desperate measures to provide for their family. Such is the case with a Wisconsin mother who is accused of using a chicken coop as her bordello, while her children were left unattended inside her home.

“She simply needed money and therefore she decided to prostitute herself here,” the police report states, according to Twin Cities Pioneer Press.

Sarah M. Bradehoft, 27, was charged with child neglect causing bodily harm and second-degree recklessly endangering safety, felonies, and three misdemeanor counts of prostitution.

Authorities were tipped off by a prostitution advertisement on Backpage.com that allegedly showed Bradehoft’s picture. When police executed a search warrant they removed her six children from the home, who were all under the age of 10. Tests showed that one of the children was exposed to amphetamines, cocaine, and methamphetamine, Twin Cities Pioneer Press reports.

A family member reportedly told police that Bradehoft would engage in sex activities at night when everyone was sleeping. They also said that the children were often unsupervised and that other adults in the home had to bathe the children. Bradehoft told investigators that she needed the money to get back to Florida and that she serviced her johns in her chicken coop, which had been modified as a recreation room.
