Man Suspects His Wife Of Cheating, Takes Extreme Action

Arabic newspaper, Sabq, reported that a Muslim immigrant to Saudi Arabia fell into a jealous rage when he found a piece of paper with a hand-written phone number in his wife's purse. He had thought she was being unfaithful. So, after driving home from a shopping mall in Jeddah with their two children, he stopped at a friend's house with a bottle of liquor.

In the Quran, the Prophet Muhammed advised men to beat their wives if they were suspected of wrongdoing. The man then drove his family to a secluded area where he drank half of the bottle and poured the rest of it on his wife then setting her on fire.

She hadn't died yet, so he took a tire iron out of the trunk of his car and bludgeoned his wife to death and she and their children begged for mercy.

He then put his wife's corpse in the trunk, drove home and placed the body in the house for his children to see. Police arrived and arrested him, but there is no word on what types of charges will be filed.

Man consults the Quran when he suspects his wife of cheating, does the unthinkable.
