Muslim Caught After Sending Thousands of Threatening Posts To Unbelievers

Zafreen Khadam is a devout Muslim woman who didn't think she was doing enough to spread Islam and establish Sharia law. The 32-year-old makeup artist wanted to follow Quran 3:151, using her social media accounts to “cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers.”

She tweeted her followers Islamic State propaganda, including children threatening to slaughter non-Muslims and ISIS fighters beheading prisoners. She was stunned when it finally caught up with her.

She used the moniker "Jihadi Princess" on Twitter and WhatsApp in the UK. Investigators were notified of her activity in February 2015. After one month of terroristic threats and spreading propaganda, Khadam was arrested and charged with 10 offenses of terrorist activity.

She said she was curious and just wanted to "understand" jihadis. Although, the BBC reports that she was found guilty of all 10 counts of disseminating terrorist publications in October and was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison this week.

Barrister Simon Davis said, “The prosecution case is that this defendant was disseminating terrorist information or propaganda, or spreading the word. Our case is that her intention was to encourage people to commit, prepare, or instigate acts of terror.” Furthermore, Some of Khadam’s posts included video of ISIS militants beheading the Jordanian pilot, ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi preaching about terrorism, and the mass decapitation of Kurdish fighters.

She even expressed the desire to become a jihadi bride. Over 20,000 of her public posts were brought to court. There she said, “It was always about understanding them. I never supported them in my heart. It was an act.”
