Most people would not stare at Luc Perreault. He even admits he cultivates the image of a mean biker dude who would “eat your soul if you stare at me wrong.”
However, he’s says he’s really an easygoing guy and a sweetheart, and the biker thing is all just a look.
Luc recently pulled into the parking lot of a Tim Horton’s restaurant up in Canada. When he got off his bike, he couldn’t help but see a little girl standing with her mother by the door staring at him.
Surprisingly, the girl wasn’t frightened by the big man in black, instead she smiled at Luc and said hi.
“Hello,” he replied with a smile
But then the little girl’s mother grabbed her hand and yanked the girl away, saying, “We don’t talk to dirty bikers” as they went in the restaurant.
Luc’s feelings were a bit hurt, so he put up a post on Facebook addressed to the mom who pre-judged him. Perreault’s post went viral and has received tens of thousands of views.
He noted: “What you don’t know is that I have been happily married for 11 years, my kids call me daddy, I am a college graduate…
My mother is proud of me and tells everyone how lucky she is to have such a wonderful son, my nieces and nephews are always happy to see there m’noncl Luc…”
Perreault concluded his post with a reminder of the kind of person he is: “So next time I smile and say hi to your little girl and you grab her and tell her, ‘No no dear, we don’t talk to dirty bikers…’
Remember that even tho you hurt my feelings, this ‘dirty biker’ would be the first person to run into your burning house to save your little girls goldfish so she wouldn’t be sad!”
