Mother Notices Black Dots Inside Her Infant’s Nose - Realizes This Caused It

Mom’s are inherently protective of their little ones by nature, and it doesn’t take too much to set off their spidey senses when something isn’t right with their child. Sometimes, there’s even visual evidence to confirm their suspicions. That’s what happened to this mom, and what she saw darn near caused her to flip her wig.

As AWM shares, the mom discovered some strange black dots inside of her infant’s nose. That was undoubtedly a pretty frightening discovery, and she rightfully rushed on off to the doctor to get to the bottom of it. While her mind raced away at what could possibly be wrong with her precious little one, her mind was quickly placed at ease.

Turns out the black dots were actually soot from scented candles that the woman was inclined to burn. That habit has gone by the wayside, and the mom has taken her story public to warn others of the potential dangers. The story has gained plenty of traction via a local news cast and social media, and several users have been less than understanding.

“You know, you could just, put it out after three hours?” shared one commenter.

“When you burn stuff, it doesn’t just magically disappear into the air…of course it produces soot,” shared another.

While those users obviously feel that mom simply should have known better, it’s pretty apparent that she simply had no idea and is simply trying to be helpful to other parents. While she could perhaps have done it in less dramatic fashion, the benefit is that maybe another parent will realize a risk they were unaware of. At least one user provided a helpful comment that was not on the snarky side.
