Mother Lets Daughter Use Bathroom By Herself, Suddenly Hears Screaming

A nightmarish attack on a young girl occurred in a Florida Best Buy store. An adult male attacked the child and could have killed her had it not been for the staff coming to her rescue. Thankfully, their intervention saved the child and resulted in the man's arrest.

James Tadros, 29, was a complete stranger to the unnamed 9-year-old victim. He allegedly lured her away from her mother and into the bathroom. There, the 6-foot, 250-pound man beat her bloody, put a bag over her head and was trying to drown her in the toilet, according to reports.

A customer heard the child crying from outside the restroom and notified the staff. Staff members went in when they discovered the grisly attack in progress. Tadros had locked the child in a stall with him.

Thankfully, when the staff members distracted Tadros, the girl was able to try to crawl out under the stall door. A Best Buy staff member helped pull her out and ushered her quickly out of the bathroom. Other employees held Tadros in the stall until the police arrived.

Police found surveillance camera footage that showed Tadros luring the girl into the bathroom, and there was blood all over the stalls. Tadros also did some damage in the police interview room after he was arrested.

Best Buy is providing free counseling to the traumatized workers who walked in on the scene. The company considers the girl’s rescuers to be 'heroes.'
