Mother Goes After Man Who Had Sex With Her 12-Year-Old Daughter

Anthony Eloy Perez, 23, has been charged with the rape of a 12-year-old girl. Perez was stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord outside of Tacoma, Washington, when he first got in contact with the victim. He told police officers that he met the child on the phone messaging app, KIK.

The mother called police at 11:30 p.m. to report her daughter missing when one of her daughter's friends texted her that she was going "to lose her virginity" to someone. The mother, and law enforcement officials, drove around to look for the girl.

At around 12:30 a.m., the mother discovered Perez and her daughter in the backseat of a parked car near their house. She shined a flashlight in the back window, seeing the two naked under a blanket. She then pulled her daughter out of the car and tried to stop Perez from running away.

According to police records, "A struggle ensued, and [the mother] struck the defendant, causing him later to develop a black eye and to have some blood on his face."

The mother also took the defendant's car keys away from him. When police officers arrived, the defendant admitted he had sex with the girl in the car. They had been speaking for a month when the girl told him she was 14. The victim was taken to an area hospital for examination.
