Mother Arrested After What She Caught Her Daughter Doing

Janette Woods, of Mesa, Arizona, decided to check on her 16-year-old daughter before shutting off the house lights and heading to bed.

She quietly opened the door and was shocked to see her daughter's boyfriend in bed with her asleep. They had reportedly engaged in consensual sex. The mother had never seen the boy before, and it was just after 1 a.m.

Woods then woke the 16-year-old boy up and repeatedly punched him in the face. The boy escaped, only wearing his jeans. She then ran after him, continuing to assault him, causing him to vomit. Woods relented, and she warned him that she will have her cousins "take care of him."

His car was still at her house so she grabbed a bat and beat the car, causing about $5,300 in damage. Neighbors called police, and the teen boy reported what had happened to him.

Woods was arrested and charged with felony criminal damage, assault, and unlawful means of transportation. It’s not her first felony for violent acts on a teen, as she was charged in 2012 with intimidation, after attacking a 17-year-old girl with a metal baton.
