Martha Stewart Loses Thousands of Fans Over One Photo

Somehow Martha Stewart, with her perfectly decorated cakes, and perfectly decorated homes, has gotten the reputation of being uptight. There is no doubt that Stewart is a perfectionist to the extreme - many who have worked with her will tell you just how demanding she can be.

But after a recent picture of Stewart flipping off President Donald Trump, some people are looking at her in a new way.

The 71-year-old author, television personality and businesswoman got a lot of attention last week after a photo of her at an art fair started circulating on social media.

The crafty lady stood between two large images. One was of President Donald Trump, and the other was of music industry mogul and television personality Snoop Dogg.

In the photo, Stewart holds up a peace sign to the Snoop Dogg portrait, and holds up a middle finger to the POTUS. Some Trump critics, like Snoop Dogg, are loving it and are wondering why Stewart might have been hiding this kind of feistiness under a bushel.

The fact is, Stewart has always been something of a badass. She got her start selling cakes door to door in her neighborhood and turned homemaking into a multi-billion dollar industry. She was never afraid to go for her goals and blow away anyone who stood in her way.

Keep in mind, Stewart even did a stint in jail. A friend gave her a stock tip, which she followed, and she was then accused of insider trading. The court decided to make an example of her, and Stewart didn't even bother appealing.

She decided to get her sentence over with so she could be out in time for spring planting season.

Martha went in with the general population; according to reports, she got no special treatment. She's hardcore. She toughed it out; and instead of her business suffering from her incarceration, it flourished afterwards. It didn’t take her long to claw her way to the top of the heap.

Stewart and Snoop Dogg have actually become an unlikely pair. The two host the VH1 show, "Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party."

The show features Stewart and Snoop Dogg entertaining guests with great recipes, games and music. Her co-host, who is a major critic of the president, probably loved the controversial picture of Stewart.

Earlier this year, after Trump was inaugurated, Snoop Dogg made a video in which the POTUS was depicted as a clown called ‘Ronald Klump’, and Dogg ends up assassinating him in the end with a toy confetti gun.

Stewart wasn’t trying to make waves with the image that has been going around. She actually took two shots. In one she is flipping the bird at Trump, and in the other shot she’s giving both Trump and Snoop Dogg the peace signs.

It’s the latter version of the image that she posted to her Instagram account, though this was later taken down after the middle finger image got all the attention.
