Many People Are Touched At The Way This Restaurant Remembers A Fallen Soldie

Brain Avey works as a bartender at a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Tacoma, Washington. Recently, and he met an amazing customer that had an enormous impact on him. He did something special for the military woman before she left, and he shared the news with his restaurant manager. As the Huffington Post shares, the restaurant has come up with an awesome way to pay a simple tribute to a fallen soldier.

Avey explained what happened on social media, and his post has gained a ton of interest.

“A Military Woman came into my work today for Lunch, she ordered a Blue Moon and a Corona, I told her she could only do one beer at a time, She said the Corona was for her brother who died in Iraq and I won't be drinking it... It just sat next her at a empty seat her entire Lunch... When I brought her bill I told her Buffalo Wild Wings will be buying that beer... This is what she wrote on her credit card slip…” he wrote.

That’s an awesome gesture, but it got even better. Avey talked it over with his restaurant manager, Dan Banale, and the pair agreed that they should do something a little more permanent to honor the fallen soldier.

“After she left, I didn't have the heart to dump the beer out and throw it away, so I put it on top of the cooler next the American Flag... When I showed my boss his response was Amazing... He said "That's Fine, just do me a favor, put a fresh Lime in it Every Morning"...” Avey’s post continued.

The restaurant’s amazing little tribute has captured plenty of attention, but Avey has deflected the attention by noting that “it just felt like the right thing to do.” However, he did make an appearance on ‘Fox and Friends,’ as the hosts were absolutely moved by the touching story.

“I’ve never seen that happen before, and it touched me,” Avey told them.
