Many Have Realized This About President Obama’s New Home

One Washington DC upscale neighborhood is climbing up a few more notches. They have a new slew of very famous residents moving in soon. It’s no wonder the neighborhood has been recently nicknamed the ‘East Coast Beverly Hills.’

Kalorama, located in the Northwest Quadrant, has had some notable residents in the past, including at least four former presidents. It's gaining one more: President Barack Obama and family will be moving into a rented home until youngest daughter, Sasha, finishes high school.

The Obamas aren't the only ones moving into the historic area. Ivanka Trump, daughter of President Elect Donald Trump, and her husband Jared Kushner are going to be just a few blocks from the Obamas. Kushner will be forming the new president's leadership team and Ivanka will be taking on much of the role of surrogate First Lady for her father.

It doesn't end there. Founder of Amazon.com, Jeff Bezos, just bought the largest private home in DC, located in Kalorama, for $23 million. The 26,900-square-foot home once housed the Textile Museum.

Those are going to be some interesting neighborhood cook-outs.
