Man Tries to Self-Operate on Hemorrhoids, It Doesn't Go As Planned

In Hangzhou City, China, Mr. Yan Wu called into his place of work on October 7 to say he was unable to make it in that day. He said he had been suffering from a hemorrhoid condition for the past decade and couldn't stand it any longer.

He was too embarrassed to go to the hospital so he tried to remove them himself through a procedure he called "slipping." He used a keychain-razor that was around 10 centimeters in length.

Unfortunately, the blade got stuck in his rectum. In addition, the hospital determined that he did not have a hemorrhoid condition. Mr. Wu told a reporter that the blade slipped when he was trying to sit down. Here is part of their dialogue:

Reporter: “Where you crouching over the mirror while you were trying to do it?”
Kao: “Yeah…”
Reporter: “Did it accidentally slip while you were trying to sit down?”
Kao: “Yeah…”
Reporter: “You were squatting for a long time weren’t you? Then you had to sit down and…”
Kao: “Yeah…”

So, Mr. Wu ended up getting even more attention than he ever wanted.
