Man Spent 250K To Look Like A Ken Doll, Here's What He Looks Like Now (PHOTOS)

A man who had multiple plastic surgeries to make himself look like a 'Ken' doll may have pushed his luck. He's suffering from a serious infection now that his body has rejected his new nose.

Rodrigo Alves, a 32-year-old air steward, has spent nearly a half a million dollars on plastic surgery procedures. Now, his investment might all go down the drain. After his latest procedure, his body rejected his new nose and the flesh is dying.

Alves has had more than 42 operations, but after this last nose job some complications developed.

"I had nose reconstruction three months ago and it appears the new cartilage has been rejected by my body," he explained. "It is very frightening and I'm trying to get back to London as soon as possible for help.... My breathing has been getting worse for the last three days and now my nose is completely blocked."

"A horrible hole has appeared in my nostril and the infection is eating my nose and I've been warned if it is not stopped it could eat into my face," he said.

Alves was admitted to a hospital in Spain and he's being given antibiotics intravenously. The Brazilian native is hoping to get back to London, where he currently lives, but doctors won't release him yet. If the tissue continues to die, some may need to be cut away. Severe complications may include blood poisoning and gangrene.

This could end up a very dangerous and expensive complication that might ultimately ruin all the work he's already had done.
