Man Scalps Girlfriend, Lets His Pit Bull Attack Her - It Gets Worse

Zachary Gross, 31, couldn’t quite come to terms with the feelings of jealousy he was experiencing towards his girlfriend, so he decided to beat and torture her instead. The woman, Marilyn Stanley, was the victim of an absolutely brutal attack that would see Gross scalp her and order his pit bull to attack her for good measure. As the Daily Mail reports, Gross has been found guilty, and he now awaits sentencing as the judge ponders the shocking details of his brutal attack.

It appears that Gross has always been the obsessively jealous type, but an innocent picture pushed him over the edge. Gross lost his marbles when he came across of a photo of Stanley that had been posted online by another man, and he proceeded to beat the hell out of her for roughly an hour. Stanley suffered a broken nose during the assault, and her eyes became so swollen that they resembled baseballs.

Gross was not done. He proceeded to brandish a knife and remove roughly eighty percent of the woman’s scalp, and he had a deranged question for his terrified victim.

“You’re bald now. Who's gonna want you now?” he allegedly said.

For good measure, he instructed his pit bull to attack the woman, and the dog would chew off part of her ear. Once the attack was through, he placed her scalp in a plastic bag and dropped the victim off at her mother’s. Stanley was immediately transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Once she regained consciousness, she was able to explain that Gross had punched her in the face numerous times and kicked her in the stomach.

The attorney for Gross alleges that the whole thing was a matter of self defense, and claims that Stanley brandished a knife and escalated the argument. The defense has also attempted to portray her scalp injuries as the result of the pit bull attack, but both of those claims have fallen on deaf ears.
