Man Overly Paranoid Over His Illegal Business, Makes Stupid Move

Jasper Harrison, 47, is a Florida man who is allegedly illegally growing marijuana in a storage unit.

He recently heard a helicopter hovering overhead and immediately panicked. He thought he was wanted by authorities, so, he turned himself into police. On Wednesday, he told an Edgewater police dispatcher "I'm the guy they're looking for."

Yet, it was discovered that the helicopter wasn't looking for him, nor did it belong to the police department. In fact, the helicopter belonged to a local TV news station that was reporting on an unrelated incident nearby.

According to Edgewater Police Capt. Joe Majoney, Harrison even told officers where they could find him and his illegal grow house. The Sentinel reports that Harrison was released on bond from the Volusia County Jail and faces charges of cultivation of cannabis within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of cannabis with intent to sell.
