Man Leaves Toddler ‘Special Gift’ To Remember Him By After Raping Her

A registered sex offender that has previously served a stint behind bars appears to be on his way back to the big house. He has been accused of two more revolting attacks against children, and he allegedly infected both of them with sexually transmitted diseases in the process. Even more disturbing, one of the children was a relative, while the other is the daughter of his ex-girlfriend.

As the Houston Chronicle reports, Houston police investigators have charged 33-year-old David R. Wilson with the sexual assault of his niece - who was less than two-years-old at the time of the assault - and the 14-year-old daughter of his ex-girlfriend. The allegations came to light when the toddler was brought to the Texas Medical Center due to a suspicious growth on her genitals, and further testing would reveal that it was due to a shocking reason.

Lab tests revealed that the growth was caused because the child had been infected with sexually transmitted diseases, namely HIV, herpes and chlamydia. The toddler would have to undergo reconstructive surgery on her genitals, and it was quite clear that she had been the victim of sexual assault. The investigation centered on the four family members that lived in the home with the girl, and a request for all to be tested for STDs would reveal that Wilson was the only one infected.

The 14-year-old would then come forward and tell a caseworker that she had a sexual relationship with Wilson, and that she was pregnant as a result. She also tested positive for STDs. Wilson was arrested and booked on the super-aggravated sexual assault of a child and sexual assault of a child. He is currently being held without bond at the Harris County Jail in anticipation of a court appearance.

Back in 2004, Wilson was sentenced to four years in prison for the sexual assault of another 14-year-old girl in the area, but it’s unclear if he had any other ties to her beyond the sick assault.
