Man Intervenes When Woman Is Sexually Assaulted On A Bus - Everyone Is Calling Him A Hero

Moise Morancy is a hip-hop artist and rapper who spouts views that are not always popular. In particular, the young black artist has been very critical of police officers in ways that have been considered offensive. One day he was glad they were there, though, and cops were glad Morancy was there.

Morancy was riding the bus when he noticed a 36-year-old man, who appeared to be intoxicated, sit next to a 15-year-old girl. The girl looked very uncomfortable and Morancy watched, having a bad feeling about the man. His bad feeling panned out — the man began grabbing the girl in inappropriate places.

The young rap star didn't hesitate to jump into the situation. He grabbed the man and threatened him to stop, then held the man down until police arrived.

When police did get there, they arrested both men in the confusion. Witnesses then explained the Morency rescued the little girl. The teen came up to her hero, gave him a rose and a hug.

Police uncuffed Morency, then shook his hand and took pictures with him. They called him a hero and thanked him for his handling of the situation. Morency says it was one time he was glad the police were involved.

Morancy was asked to comment, but he only had one thing to say: “Do not touch young women or women of all ages.”
