Man In Hot Water For Posting Photo Online With New Car, Forgets One Big Detail (Photos)

A young, unnamed man from Florida posted a photo of himself fanning out a large sum of money. He posted the picture to social media, boasting that he'd just paid cash for a $30,000 car and had money left over to burn. People weren't as impressed with him as he hoped - especially after noticing what he left out on his lap.

During the photo, the guy left his wallet open on his lap. Clear as day, you can see his Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card. These cards are distributed to people who are drawing public assistance, either in the form of cash, food stamps or both.

While the guy no doubt thought he would look cool sitting in his expensive automobile with his hands full of money, he just came off looking like a sleazy leach. Obviously, to have that much cash on hand for luxury items, he can't really need public assistance. This means he's probably collecting assistance without reporting his income. Perhaps he comes by his unreported money illegally.

Hopefully, someone will recognize this person taking advantage of the system, and both police and social services will investigate him. In the meantime, it looks like he's going to continue enjoying a life high on the hog, courtesy of taxpayers.
