Man Gets Sentenced To Nearly 250 Years In Prison, Courtroom Cheers

One judge had no sympathy for a man convicted of murder. He was so disgusted with the killer by the time sentencing came, he threw the book at him. The man was sentenced to 247 years, and the family of the victim can be heard clapping when the sentence was passed.

Anthony Hill, 46, was found guilty of murdering his roommate, Sean O'Toole. Hill had a long criminal history, and was found guilty of murdering O'Toole and injuring one other in December of 2013 because he said the victim disrespected his girlfriend.

Hill didn't help himself when police came for him and he engaged them in a prolonged shoot-out after hitting one of the officers with his car.

When the victim's family members read their statements to Hill, he began yelling expletives about the victim. The judge had had enough. “You’re a criminal. You’ll never see the light of day again,” the judge told Hill.

Hill received the maximum sentence-- 199 years to life, plus 48 extra years. About a dozen family members of the victim burst into applauds. Hill just smirked.
