Man Does The Unthinkable After Grandmother Blows Her Nose At Dinner

On October 15, Timothy Steele hit his 84-year-old grandmother in the head with a hammer around seven or eight times. He did it because she blew her nose at the dinner table.

Police said that they were called to the Steele home by Steele’s mother (the victim’s daughter). A “calm and collected” Steele told them when they arrived that he had killed his grandmother.

Steele told police that he was “annoyed by the victim blowing her nose at dinner.” He then said that he was “fixated on the feeling of mucus in his mouth and could smell mucus because the victim had blown her nose at dinner.”

“Police observed injuries on the right side of the victim’s head,” the court filing reads. Steele is charged with second-degree murder and is now being held on $750,000 bail. He could face up to 40 years in jail.
