Man Did Something So Bad His Own Mother Wants Him Dead

Patrick Clarke Jr. killed his father back in May of 2015, a mere two months after being dishonorably discharged from the US military.
At his recent trial, Clarke’s mom, Deborah St. Louis, says she wishes her son would’ve received the death penalty.

Note that the 24-year-old Clarke Jr. was convicted of first-degree murder in the shooting death of his father 50-year-old Patrick Clarke Sr.

“I was upset because I wanted the death penalty for him,” St. Louis explained in an interview with local Florida media. “ … [He] is dead to all of us. That is no longer my son.”

The family notes that Clarke Jr. was discharged from the military after joining at his father’s suggestion. Clarke Jr. claimed he had a moral objection to killing people, according to St. Louis.

It seems that father and son argued all the time, and the acrimony grew so bitter and palpable that Clarke Jr. would wait until his father fell asleep at tiptoe into his own bedroom to avoid a confrontation.

A couple of weeks prior to killing his father with a rifle by shooting him three times in their home in the community of Holiday, Clarke started to discuss wanting to burn down the family’s home, according to his brother Dakota in a deposition made before the murder trial.

Dakota Clarke was only 15 at the time, but later testified against his brother as a prosecution witness in the trial. The entire traumatic experience has led to the younger brother seeing a psychiatrist for severe depression. He has insomnia and is compelled to check on his mother every couple of hours despite bulletproof windows and an alarm system installed in their new home.

During Clarke’s sentencing hearing St Louis expressed regret that her oldest son wouldn’t face the death penalty for murdering the man she loved for 30 years.

“I saw his head drop, like he couldn’t believe I said that,” St. Louis noted with satisfaction when she spoke to the media.
