Man Degrades Mother Who Couldn’t Afford Her Son’s Birthday Cake - Gets Instant Dose Of Karma

A single mother at the grocery store was buying some very basic needs, and a little decorated birthday cake for a child. When the mother fell short on her food stamp account. The man behind her started complaining.

"Come on lady, hurry up! I don't have all day!"

The woman dug through her purse counting pennies and dimes, making the man in the expensive business suit even angrier. "You're wasting my time. If you can't pay for your basic groceries, you shouldn't be trying to buy cakes on my tax dollar."

"It's my son's birthday," she offered, looking for sympathy, but she got none.

"Birthdays are a luxury some people can't afford," said the man.

Yet another man behind the first - this one smaller, casually dressed in a Star Wars t-shirt and jeans - jumped into the discussion. "Why are you giving her a hard time? Leave the lady alone."

The suited man whipped around, staring down the other guy. "I happen to have an important job at a large shipping company and I have a meeting this afternoon."

"Oh," said the Star War's fan. "You must be very important. Do you have a business card?"

Impatiently the man in the suit pulled out his card and handed it to the man.

"Thanks," said the smaller man. "I thought this was the company you meant. I happen to own it. I'll be calling your supervisor. Consider yourself on probation; and if I ever hear you treated someone else like this again, on or off the job, you can find yourself a new career."

The man in the suit, now sweating, sheepishly apologized and hurried out. The man in the Star Wars shirt bought the woman's cake, and threw in some money for a toy, too.
