Man Calls For Violence Against Police And Families - Gets Dose Of Instant Karma

Police in Racine, Wis. arrested 43-year-old Byron Cowan and charged him with making racist and hateful comments that he reportedly posted on Facebook that called on black men to kill white police officers and their families.

“Be first to shoot first I encourage every Black man in America to strap up. It is clear. I encourage every white officer to kiss their loved ones goodbye. Every time you leave the house. Tell them you love them; because you may not make it home. Also if you do make it home. You may find there dead bodies sprawled over the house. This is war were tired. I don’t care who I offend I don’t have any more words but bullets. It’s time to start going into there homes and killing their families,” the post read.

Detectives and FBI agents arrested Cowan on suspicion of making threats to hurt police, making terroristic threats, which are hate crimes, and disorderly conduct. He was arrested without incident.

The Ripley Police Department had this to say about the arrest on Facebook:

“The Ripley Police Department would like to thank all of the people who sent us posts and warnings regarding the recent Facebook threats by a reported Byron Cowan. The subject is currently in Racine County Jail in Wisconsin. He is currently being charged there for the threats. It is believed he was located there when he posted them. Once again we would like to tell the public thanks for their support during these tough times. --- Chief Scott White”
