Man Calls 911 - Dispatcher Can’t Believe The Horrific Thing He Admits

A man admits to murder in a scary North Carolina 911 call. The call starts like all 911 calls, but veers off the script immediately:

“Fayetteville 911,” the dispatcher answers. “What’s the address of the emergency?”

“I just killed somebody,” a male voice says.

He gives the dispatcher his address in Fayetteville, North Carolina. When police got to the scene, they found a man with a knife and a woman on the floor in a pool of blood.

The 911 call continued:

“I’m so sorry,” the murderer says to the dispatcher.

“Okay, can you tell me your name?” she responds.

“No, I don’t think I can,” he answers. He was later identified as Mark Anthony Hicks.

When things go silent, the dispatcher asks the caller to stay on the line with her.

“Hello?” she says. “Hello?”

“Tell my mother I apologize,” the man answers quietly

Apparently, two children were in the home, but they were able to climb out a window and run over to a neighbor’s house.

“My mother got stabbed by her boyfriend,” a child says in the second 911 call. “We jumped out the window and ran to our friend’s house.”

According to the police report, when they entered the home, they saw “a male standing over a female inside of the residence.” The woman was “lying in a pool of blood,” and they told the man to drop the large blade.

A stun gun misfired and police tried to handcuff the man, but he “lunged at the officers with a knife.”

The suspect was shot and killed.

Local Police Chief Anthony Kelly later identified the female victim as Amanda Williams, a 37-year-old mother of three, at a press conference.

“It’s still early in the investigation; of course the victim can’t tell us what happened,” Kelly continued. “The suspect can’t tell us what happened. We’re still interviewing the children, but that’s a delicate situation as well.”
