Little Girl's Photo At Naptime Goes Viral (PHOTOS)

A classroom teacher stumbled upon a scene during nap time that was so precious she couldn’t help taking a picture of it. The school has posted the photo to their Facebook page, and it’s starting to go viral. The image brings a warm feeling of hope for the future to many who view it.

The image is of two little girls laying down, napping peacefully. The girls’ mats are right next to each other and they're both laying on their stomachs, facing in toward each other. The two are holding hands.

One of the girls is white, and the other is black. The two friends fell asleep hand-in-hand.

The Presbyterian Day School of Clarksdale, Mississippi posted the photo to their Facebook page. Beneath it, they posted a quote from the Bible: "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. --1 John 4:7."

The photo is quickly garnering likes and shares. Commenters are touched by the image.

"I love that children do not love by skin color, but rather from their heart," wrote one commenter.
