Leaked Emails Show Clinton Camp Using Offensive Words To Describe Their Voters

One startling revelation after another has been found by those coming through the leaked emails from the Hillary Clinton campaign. One of the latest nuggets extracted from the load of almost 1,200 emails on Monday show Clinton's campaign team were shaken by Trump's celebrity status because it threatened the 'compliant citizenry' they worked to produce.

An email sent to Clinton's campaign chairman John Podesta gives some damaging insight about how the Clinton campaign views voters. The email, from then-Clinton administration official Bill Ivey, was sent in May.

"And as I've mentioned, we've all been quite content to demean government, drop civics and in general conspire to produce an unware and compliant citizenry," writes Ivey. "The unawareness remains strong, but compliance is obviously fading rapidly."

The email was in response to Trump's growing popularity due to his celebrity status. Ivey appeared very concerned that Clinton 'is not an entertainer, and not a celebrity in the Trump, Kardashian mold.' He asks Podesta, "What can we do to offset [Trump’s celebrity appeal]?"

The admission that a candidate and her campaign 'conspires' to keep citizens 'unaware and compliant' may be disconcerting to voters, especially in conjunction with some other revelations. Reports of mainstream media working with the Clinton campaign, the DNC conspiring to knock Bernie Sanders out of the running and reports of Clinton admitting she keeps separate public and a private position on issues begin to paint a startling picture at what the massive multibillion-dollar campaign are striving to do.
