KFC Employee Asks Which Food Was For The Officer - Does The Unthinkable

A deputy headed to a KFC drive-through for some dinner when he overheard an employee say something shocking. The employee has since been fired.

According to the unnamed officer, while he was at the drive-thru window he overheard someone inside say, "Oh it’s a cop. Someone let me know which order is his so I can spit in all of his food."

The deputy left the drive-thru window and went inside to speak to a manager. When he reported what he heard, she went in the back to talk to her employees. When she returned, she said the employees were refusing to make his food. She was completely unapologetic for it, too, much to the officer's surprise.

The officer took to Facebook to complain about the incident and to warn fellow officers to stay away from the local KFC.

The post eventually got attention of the local media in St. Louis, Missouri, who brought it to the attention of KFC headquarters.

“KFC’s policy is to treat everyone fairly, equally and with respect, and we do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. Upon learning of this incident, the franchisee who owns the restaurant conducted an immediate and thorough investigation, and the employee was terminated,” they said in a statement.

They did not mention if the manager had been disciplined. Perhaps not, since the spokespeople for the restaurant also neglected to issue an apology.
