Judges Jump Out Of Seats After This Girl Sings Whitney Houston And Hits This

The unique thing about the talent show 'The Voice' is that judges do not get a chance to judge a book by its cover. All the judges have their backs to the performers and have to blindly listen to people sing. If the judges like the voice they hear, they can push a button and spin their chair around to face the performer.

Selenay Dagdelen, 14, recently appeared on a version of the show 'The Voice Kids' in the Netherlands. The pretty little girl stepped up to the mike and began singing her version of Dolly Parton's 'I Will Always Love You.' The song was made famous when Whitney Houston sang it for the film, 'The Bodyguard.'

As the girl began crooning, all three judges were obviously interested in the mystery singer. Her soft voice carried the tune, beautifully hitting the high notes. You could see hands hovering above the buttons.

Less than a minute into the song, Dagdelen comes to the climax, and belts it out with force that has probably not been heard since Houston herself sang it. Without even looking at each other, all three judges smacked down their buzzers at the same time.

Just back stage, Dagdelen's family and the host jumped and cheered for her, as the audience lept to their feet for an ovation. If you’re going to perform on ‘The Voice,’ that is the way to do it.
