ISIS Wasn't Ready for This Tactic

Members of ISIS are usually pretty sneaky, but this is one story where they had the tables turned on them.

A few weeks ago, an ISIS commander was killed by a United States Reaper drone, while he and his fellow jihadis were at his home in Raqqa. According to the U.K. Express, British SAS soldiers worked with the U.S. Air Force to pinpoint the commander's location. In addition, they used their Islamic traditions against them.

They were first driven to the area in the back of a Toyota pickup truck. The eight brave SAS soldiers were also dressed in head-to-toe female Muslim clothing--they were pretending to be the wives of the militants in order to gain access. Under their dresses were grenades, tactical rifles and more.

As they went through the town, British soldiers radioed coordinates of the commander's home to an Air Force plane flying high above the town. The plan sent a Reaper drone to vaporize everyone inside. Although the blast put ISIS on high alert, and the SAS soldiers had to find their way out of town.

A source said “The SAS team were moving back to their vehicles after the missile had struck when the town went into lockdown. Gunmen were on the streets stopping everyone, lining people up against the walls and threatening to kill anyone who had helped the ‘spies.’”

ISIS members tried to stop the SAS soldiers from leaving, but they were greeted with massive rifles as the team lifted up their burkas to open fire.

The source continued to say “The SAS jumped out of the vehicle, lifted up their burkas and opened fire. It must have been a massive shock to the gunmen. One was killed instantly and two others ran off. The firefight gave the SAS just enough time to break contact with the Isis gunmen and escape.”

As a result, the team was able to strike a "severe blow" to Daesh in the area.
