Here's The Social Media Post That Got This College Student Fired (Photos)

The power of the people got one Georgia Southern University student fired from her job. Dozens of classmates reportedly called Emily Faz’s job to complain after she made a threatening Facebook post criticizing Black Lives Matters activists, Washington Times reports.

Faz shared a Washington Post article on social media that discussed how BLM protestors were upset that terrorist attacks in Paris had completely taken over the media.

“I swear if I see this B.S. at Southern I will make you regret even knowing what a movement or a hashtag is, and you’ll walk away with your tail tucked,” she wrote.

“The whole black lives matter movement is misguided and out of hand. Maybe no one likes or takes y’all seriously because no one can see past your egotistical [expletive]. Some people might just look past it, but fair warning I am not one. All lives matter, that has always been the case, and you part of the problem if you think other wise [sic].”

This prompted “Black GSU” to make threatening comments in return and spurred other students to call her out on social media. That was until one person came up with the idea to have people call her job and demand she be fired. And she was.

In addition to that GSU’s Interim President Jean Bartels said that the social media posts “resulted in a call for disciplinary action against the speaker,” because of its threatening nature.
