Here's The Angry Letter An Elderly Couple Got From A Realtor (Photos)

Bill and Barbara Doughten were pretty startled when they received an anonymous note providing them with some unsolicited advice. According to the Daily News, the elderly Ocean City couple was advised that they should get off of their own lawn.

The request came from a local real estate agent that decided it was perfectly reasonable to tell the couple what they could do on their own property.

"I'm trying to sell million dollar homes in the neighborhood. I drive my clients around and they see your car parked sideways on the front lawn! You have a driveway — use it!" the note read.

While the agent has apparently pinpointed the Doughten’s parking choice as the reason for slow property sales, the couple’s granddaughter has a few etiquette lessons for the agent.

"Did you even take ONE second to consider your inconsiderate, ignorant actions before you scribbled your frustration on that piece of printer paper?" wrote Stephanie Powley, who shared an image of the note on Facebook.

She also noted that her grandfather needs to park closer to the door at his advanced age. As Barbara points out, they have no plans to change the parking arrangements at their home.

"I can do whatever I want to do. I'm not moving the car. (And) I don't know of any million-dollar homes in this neighborhood," Barbara said.
