Fox News Praises Trump For One Moment That May Have Reshaped The Election

At the third and final 2016 presidential debate, Donald Trump's performance was strong up until the end. At the end of the debate, he made a statement that ended up securing all the headlines and resulted in a lot of backlash. At least one other wealthy, successful businessman says Trump's answer was smart.

“The rigged thing is one of the brightest things that he could have done,” said Lou Dobbs when he appeared on Fox News show 'The O'Reilly Factor.'

“It is a stroke of genius what he has done because he’s dominating the airwaves, the web, the newspapers that still exist, with the story of why this is a rigged election,” Dobbs said.

During last week's debate, Trump was asked if he would accept the election results. Trump said he couldn't say until he actually saw the election results.

"What I’ve seen — what I’ve seen is so bad," Trump began. "First of all, the media is so dishonest and so corrupt, and the pile-on is so amazing. The New York Times actually wrote an article about it, but they don’t even care. It’s so dishonest. And they’ve poisoned the mind of the voters." Trump explained to debate moderator Chris Wallace.

When pressed for a direct answer, Trump responded, "What I’m saying is that I will tell you at the time. I’ll keep you in suspense. OK?"

Trump has gotten a lot of heat, with most media outlets ignoring 99% of the candidate’s performance and focusing only on that comment. While liberals are shocked, Dobbs continues to applaud the answer.

Dobbs tweeted previously that he approved of Trump's answer. "A great strategy by @realDonaldTrump – dominating all media & exposing the rigged system," he wrote.

"Liberal MSM has a fit over @realDonaldTrump's insistence on a clean election. Al Gore refused to concede 2000 for weeks," Dobbs also tweeted, revealing liberal hypocrisy because liberals supported Gore at the time.
